Slide Rule Library
Archive of Books, Manuals, Instructions and Ephemera

These are reference materials (100+) in the the collection, which involve books, manuals, instruction sheets and sales brochures. Electronic files may be scans (200 dpi) of these materials or may link to or reference scans from other sources for your convenience. Credits are given to all contributors of scanned materials. Files will be in the standardized formats, like individual JPG or GIF picture files, DOC MS word files, or PDF Adobe reader files, which are preferred. These are located on my server. In some instances a LINK is provided to another collector site where the document is stored. Thanks gentlemen! If an item is currently in print and available, no effort will be made to document the item, other than to acknowledge that it exists. I'll be more motivated to scan a manual if I know someone is looking for it, so email with requests. If you would like to contribute toward the continued archiving of these materials, see the section on Paypal donations.

Monetary Donations

All the images of slide rules in the galleries and the PDF files of scanned books, manuals and instructions have been free to download since 2003. The policy of ISRM is to continue this practice, without restrictions in order to provide research and educational information to the world at large. However, running a web site of this size with a large amount of data does take a lot of personal time and effort and does incurr costs in hosting in order to provide the bandwidth. It takes many hours to scan slide rules and manuals. ISRM gets over 30,000 hits per day from appreciative visitors. If you have enjoyed the many offerings of ISRM, and would like to partner toward its expansion, you can send donations using the Secure Paypal button on the right. Contributions will be used to pay for the web site service and expemses for the Slide Rule Loaner Program for schools. Thank you for your support and consideration!
